A. Calculation of number of main bars (main reinforcement)
Number of main bars =(X/Spacing of main reinforcement)+1
 =(3/.15)+1
=21 Nos
 Number of main bars =21*2= 42 nos (we have double mesh)
B. Calculation of number of distribution bars (distribution reinforcement)
Number of distribution bars =(y/Spacing of distribution reinforcement)+1 Number of distribution bars =(2.1/.15)+
 Number of distribution bars   =15 Nos
Number of distribution bars =15*2= 30 nos (we have double mesh)
C.cutting length of main bars (main reinforcement)
cutting length of main bars =(Y-2Cover)+2(h-2cover)-2(2dm) 
cutting length of main bars =(2.1-2*.05)+2(.35-2*.05)-2(2*16)
cutting length of main bars =2.436
 Total cutting length of main bars -2.436*42 =102.312
D.cutting length of Distribution bars (distribution reinforcement)
